The Story of Hypernova Solar

Hypernova Solar is an independent 501c3 Non-Profit Organization based out in the Northern Virginia region. Our team of mostly College students Designs, Builds, Tests, and Competes with fully Solar-Powered Electric Vehicles, and then we race these vehicles in International Competitions against teams from all across the Globe.

Hypernova Solar was just an idea in my head back when I was a Freshman in the Fall of 2017. Nobody at GMU had even heard of Solar Car Racing before I came here. Now, we have over 40 active team members, raised over $25,000, and built the first new Solar Car in the state of Virginia in almost 20 years.

By combining my passion for Entrepreneurship and Engineering into one project, I successfully built this Organization which I am incredibly proud of.
